General Responsibilities

We are seeking an installer who will be responsible for performing wireless RF (radio frequency) internet service installation with some basic technical IT (information technology) background.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform installs including setting up customer networks (routers), extenders and/or computers.
  • Install outdoor CAT 5E/6A Ethernet wiring from rooftops using a ladder to inside locations.
  • Ensure all installation work is completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track all installation materials and ensure proper supplies are in place, or notify the manager if supplies are needed for your service vehicle (provided by the company).

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • A minimum of two years of experience with wireless and/or wired IT installation in both commercial and residential facilities.
  • A minimum of two years working with Windows OS and Mac OS to set up internet connectivity.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to install a connector on CAT 5E/6A Ethernet cable.
  • Experience setting up and checking TCP/IP stacks in customer routers and/or computers.

  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred.
